Applications

The John Merrricks Sailing Trust supports youth sailing in the United Kingdom.

If you, your sailing club, recognized teaching establishment or community group feel that the Trust could help fund or part-fund a worthwhile project please contact the John Merricks Sailing Trust - see below for details.

All awards are decided by unanimous agreement of all the Trustees.

All applications must be sent via e-mail to: Applications@jmst.org.uk
Applications from under 18s must include the contact details (including e-mail address) of their parent or guardian.
Please include the following information:

Individuals

Name and age (must be under 25).
Home address and sailing club details.
Details of your aims or goals.
Details of what it is that you are seeking funding for (please include exact costs and details of why your own personal circumstances require you to seek support)
Reference contact number (eg coach, class captain, etc)

Groups

Contact name and address of club, school, unit etc
Details of your aims or goals
Details of what it is that you are seeking funding for (please include exact costs and what your organisation is doing to try to fund this activity)
Details of who will benefit from funding.
Details of how project is administered.

It should be noted that, following the award of a grant, any further application would only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
