England has the TigerTrophy but now Scotland has the Tartan Trophy 2008!

Premier Scottish sailing venue Prestwick Sailing Club has teamed up withthe soon to be launched tartanmarine.co.uk to put a completely new event forScotland onto the 2008 calendar.

The 3rd and 4th of May 2008 will see the first Tartan Trophy - an allcomers dinghy and catamaran event with combined fleet racing and results. Therewill be a range of race types and courses, a social event, and the event willbe in support of the John Merricks Sailing Trust.
