If you would like to support the John Merricks Sailing Trust in helping worthy young sailors, or sailing organisations, to achieve their goals, there are several ways to assist.
CHEQUE DONATION
Make a personal or company donation – please send any donations however large or small to us c/o Ian Walker, John Merricks Sailing Trust, 25 Spitfire Way, Hamble, Southampton, Hampshire. SO31 4RT.
Please make cheques payable to the John Merricks Sailing Trust, PLEASE DO NOT send cash in the post.
If you are a UK taxpayer please DO fill out a Gift Aid Form and post with your cheque - thank you.
ONLINE DONATION
We’ve teamed up with Justgiving.com, the UK’s leading online fundraising website, so you can donate and raise funds for us online. All you need to do is use the link below:

FUNDRAISING
Justgiving also makes it easy to raise money: you can create an online fundraising page in minutes to collect donations for any sponsored event or appeal.

Fundraising pages are just like paper sponsorship forms, except they’re online, so you don’t have to traipse around collecting cash and cheques. Simply personalise your page with a photo and message and email the web address to all your contacts. Friends, family, work colleagues and anyone else, from anywhere in the world, can then make a donation using your page.
You can create a fundraising page for absolutely anything. You could get sponsored to run, swim, cycle, get fit, grow a moustache or have your head shaved. The only limit is your imagination.

Use the John Merricks Sailing Trust as your charity for a sponsored challenge – there are many different ways to raise money through sponsorship. Utilising your favourite sport or hobby in a sponsored challenge is a fun way to help the Trust by raising money and also awareness of the Trust itself. Once you have decided on a challenge then ask as many friends, relatives, work colleagues, companies or schools to sponsor you to achieve your challenge. Many people have helped the Trust in this way with a variety of challenges including: Ironman competition, sailing, running the London Marathon, bike rides, dieting and swimming.
